Kyungpook National University's G-LAMP Project Group regularly holds forums and aims to improve basic science by providing various human and research exchanges not only to members of the G-LAMP Project but also to interested graduate students.

The theme of "Our Second Step, Not Small," covered the history of basic science and the history and significance of basic science in Korea, and three renowned professors from basic science were also present.

Professor Kim Chan-soo (Kongju University), a former dean of the College of Natural Sciences at Kongju National University, and Jeong Il-hyo, a former dean of the College of Natural Sciences at Pusan National University

Professor (Busan University) and Professor Kim Young-pyo (Jeju University), who was the former dean of Jeju National University's Natural Science University, were invited to learn about the history of basic science, hold panel discussions, and share experience and knowledge of basic science.
