Kyungpook National University's LAMP Project Group regularly holds forums and aims to improve basic science by providing various human and research exchanges to interested graduate students as well as members of the LAMP Project.
As it was the first forum, Kyungpook National University President Hong Won-hwa shone as a congratulatory speech, and three renowned professors from basic science were also present at "Our First Step, Not Small."
Professor Yoo Jae-joon (Seoul National University), the current president of the Dean's Council of the National University of Natural Sciences, Professor Lee Young-ah (Jeonbuk National University), and Professor Jeong Jae-hoon (Busan National University), the current president of the Dean's Council of the National University of Natural Sciences, were invited to talk about the current status of basic science in Korea and various issues.
Each professor gave a lecture on the meaning and reality of basic science and revival, and had a meaningful time sharing experience and knowledge of basic science while conducting panel discussions.
As such, the LAMP project group aims to hold periodic forums and bring prominent people to their seats so that they can share deep stories of basic science up close. We will show you how the LAMP project group, which has taken its first steps since March, continues to move toward the development of basic science with strong steps.
